Introducing the SUPERFORCE Drilling Impactor

The Impactor is used primarily to increase the impact effect of G-FORCE drilling jars. Storing concentrated energy in an optimum position in the jar string. A secondary advantage of the Impactor tool is absorbing the impact shock waves that travel up drill pipe. Thus, drilling strings may be utilized closer to their yield loads, without fear of overloading, under impact conditions. This permits higher pull loads to be placed on the hydraulic drilling jar. A third advantage of the Impactor tool is providing the operator with the ability to perform impact operations at, or near, the surface. The compressibility of the Impactor tool provides the necessary "stretch" to operate the jarring equipment.
1.1 How the Impactor Works
The Impactor tool supplies the 'drive' for the concentrated weights in a jar string in exactly the same manner as the long resilient drill string.
